📌 We are a private hall, not the Dharmasthala Temple Trust. Individual marriages here are private family ceremonies. For temple-managed ceremonies, contact the Dharmasthala Temple office directly.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bride must be 18 years and above
  • Groom must be 21 years and above
  • Hindu arranged marriages only — both families must consent
  • Inter-caste marriages are permitted with parents' acceptance
  • Both mothers (bride's and groom's) must be present at the ceremony
  • Love marriages without family acceptance are not permitted
  • Second marriages and divorced marriages are not permitted
  • Inter-religious marriages are not permitted

  • Aadhaar card photocopy — Bride
  • Aadhaar card photocopy — Groom
  • Aadhaar card photocopies — Bride's parents (both)
  • Aadhaar card photocopies — Groom's parents (both)
  • Photo ID — Bride and Groom to carry original ID on the wedding day

Marriage rules and regulations

Important rules — read before booking

  • Marriage timing: Ceremonies permitted between 4:30 AM to 6:00 PM only.
  • Hall allotment: Hall is allotted for 23–24 hours (typically 3:00 PM to 3:00 PM next day).
  • Mothers' presence: Both mothers must be physically present. Hall allotment will not be granted without both mothers.
  • No love marriages, second marriages, or inter-religious marriages.
  • Receipt after ceremony: Issued by the hall manager. Use for marriage registration at your home district registrar — registration is NOT done at Dharmasthala.
  • Photography: Permitted inside the hall. Bring your own photographer.
