- Bride must be 18 years and above
- Groom must be 21 years and above
- Hindu arranged marriages only
- Inter-caste marriages permitted with parents' acceptance
- Both mothers must be present at the ceremony
- Love marriages, second marriages, and inter-religious marriages — not permitted

Rules and guidelines
Group marriage rules at Parijatha Conventional Hall
- Hall timing: 4:30 AM to 6:00 PM only
- Hall allotment: 23–24 hours
- Mothers' presence: Both mothers from each couple's family must be present
- Purohit: Provided by the hall for all ceremonies
- Food and accommodation: Not provided for group marriages — arrange separately
- Photography: Permitted. Bring your own photographer.
- Receipt: Issued after the ceremony — use for marriage registration at your home district registrar
- Certificate: NOT issued at Dharmasthala — register at your local civil registration office
