Why Choose Our Marriage Hall?
Families across Dakshina Kannada and beyond choose Parijatha Conventional Hall for one simple reason: it takes the stress out of planning a wedding at one of Karnataka's most sacred pilgrimage towns. Since 2019, Veekshith K and the team have hosted weddings for families who wanted their ceremony close to Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Temple without the uncertainty of booking through an unfamiliar broker or agent.
The hall itself is spacious and single-configuration — no confusing tiers or hidden upsells for "premium" halls. Whether your family is planning an intimate 50-guest ceremony or a large 500-guest community wedding, the same clean, well-maintained hall adapts to your event. The space is cleaned and prepared before every booking, with dedicated staff present through the ceremony to handle logistics so your family can focus on the wedding itself.
Being 2.4 km from the temple matters more than the number suggests. Many wedding parties travelling from outside Dharmasthala want to combine the ceremony with a temple visit — either before the muhurtha or immediately after as newlyweds. A short auto ride away means guests aren't managing a long commute between the hall and the temple, and elderly family members aren't exhausted before the main event.
Veekshith K and the on-site team are known for being responsive — most enquiries get a WhatsApp reply within 2–4 hours, and the team speaks Kannada, Tulu, and English, which matters when coordinating with purohits, caterers, and out-of-town relatives on the same call.
Marriage Hall Suitable for Every Wedding
Parijatha Conventional Hall is a single flexible hall — not a set of fixed-size rooms you have to choose between. This matters practically: the hall's seating, stage, and dining arrangement scale to your actual guest count rather than forcing you into a hall that's too big or too small for your family.
- Small weddings (50–100 guests): Intimate seating arrangement with a compact stage, suited to close-family ceremonies without an oversized, echoing room.
- Medium weddings (100–250 guests): Full seating with dedicated dining area running in parallel, decoration flexibility for a fuller stage setup.
- Large weddings (250–500 guests): Maximum hall configuration with expanded seating rows, larger stage space for group ceremonies, and dining hall capacity to match.
Because it's one flexible space rather than several fixed rooms, decoration teams have room to work with regardless of your guest count — mandap placement, stage backdrop, and seating rows are laid out fresh for every booking based on your family's requirements.

🍽️ Dining Hall
Attached dining area seats guests in batches for traditional meals, so the main hall stays free for the ceremony while catering runs smoothly alongside.

On-site parking accommodates cars and buses at no extra charge — important for group yatras and families arriving with multiple vehicles.
📶 Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available across the property for guests who need to stay connected, share photos, or coordinate with vendors during the event.
📹 CCTV
CCTV coverage across the property adds a layer of security for gifts, valuables, and vehicles during the ceremony and reception.

Our travel desk arranges autos and taxis for guests moving between the hall, the bus stand, and Dharmasthala Temple — useful for out-of-town family members unfamiliar with the area.
🙏 Purohit
An experienced purohit is provided to conduct the ceremony according to Hindu wedding tradition, removing the need to arrange one separately.
📿 Valaga
Traditional valaga (ceremonial band) facilities are available to accompany key rituals, adding the customary sound of a Dharmasthala wedding.
💧 Drinking Water
Clean drinking water is available throughout the hall and dining area for guests and vendors through the length of the event.
🚻 Washrooms
Washrooms are maintained and cleaned before and during events, with separate facilities so large guest counts don't create bottlenecks.
👗 Dressing Room
A dedicated dressing room gives the bride and groom's families a private space to get ready before the ceremony begins.
⚡ Generator
Backup power ensures the ceremony, lighting, and sound continue uninterrupted even during a power outage — common in rural Karnataka during monsoon season.
🧹 Cleaning
The hall is cleaned before your event and again afterward, so your family isn't responsible for handover cleaning once the ceremony ends.
Marriage Hall Booking Process
Booking Parijatha Conventional Hall follows four steps. For the full step-by-step breakdown including exact document checklists and wedding-day timing, see our complete marriage procedure guide.

Pay the advance to secure your date. You'll receive a booking receipt confirming your hall timing and date — keep this for your records.
Arrive at your confirmed time; hall access begins per your allotment (23–24 hours). After the ceremony, many families walk or take an auto to the temple for darshan.

Hall rent, security deposit, extra decoration, dining charges, and any additional services are quoted individually based on your guest count, ceremony type (individual or group), and date. We do not publish fixed prices online because every wedding's requirements are different — a 50-guest ceremony with self-arranged catering costs differently than a 400-guest wedding with full hall dining.

Wedding Planning Tips
- Book early: Regular dates need 4–6 weeks notice; auspicious muhurtha weekends and peak season (November–February) need 2–3 months.
- Select your muhurtha: Consult your family priest for an auspicious date, and keep one backup date in case your first choice is already booked.
- Arrange rooms early: Contact Hotel Parijatha Inn as soon as your hall date is confirmed — rooms fill quickly around popular wedding dates.
- Plan guest transportation: If relatives are travelling from Mangaluru or Bangalore, share the hall's location and our travel desk contact in advance.
- Confirm decorations ahead: Whether you're bringing your own decorator or coordinating through the hall, confirm mandap style and stage layout at least 2 weeks before the date.
- Brief your photographer: Share the ceremony start time and muhurtha timing with your photographer so they don't miss key rituals.
- Plan the temple visit: If newlyweds want darshan after the ceremony, factor in the 25-minute walk or 5-minute auto ride when planning your day's schedule.
Why Families Prefer Weddings in Dharmasthala
Dharmasthala has been a centre of pilgrimage and tradition in Karnataka for centuries, known for the Manjunatheshwara Temple and its associated customs of dharma and justice. Many families specifically choose to marry here believing the location carries the temple's blessings into their new life together.
Beyond the spiritual dimension, Dharmasthala offers a peaceful, small-town atmosphere that's easier to manage for a wedding than a crowded city venue — parking is simpler, noise is lower, and the pace suits an unhurried, traditional ceremony. The town's accessibility from Mangaluru and Bangalore by road, combined with accommodation available on-site at Parijatha Conventional Hall's own property, means families don't need to coordinate multiple vendors and venues across town.
